As the Vocationist congregation has expanded in the last twenty years, it became necessary to establish a local delegation in the United States. The Vocationist Sisters’ delegation is formed by a Delegate, a Vice Delegate, a Secretary, a Treasurer and a Vocation Directress.
The delegate serves as a liaison between the Mother General and the cited delegation which is made up of local communities of sisters living together within a religious house or with different Vocationist Communities at another location.
The cited delegation is headed by a delegate, who after proper consultation, is appointed by the Mother General with the deliberative vote of her Council. She is appointed for a three year term as well as the other members of the delegation and they can all be re-appointed for another three year term.
